An overlap of transparent and opaque layers bonded by a golden glue is first cut to size and then lathed with a 4-degree slant. The outcome is a semi-transparent and iridescent material, reminiscent of celluloid and a very unique color pattern. Each pen will carry its own pattern.
The nib is a soft 14k gold and has some flex (hyperflex). The filling system is an internal piston filler.
